Illumination 2019: The Artists of Colour’s twelfth Annual Art Exhibition


The Artists of Colour will hold our twelfth annual art exhibit at Mackenzie Hall and Cultural Centre, and Common Ground Gallery 3277 Sandwich Street, Windsor, Ontario. “Illumination 2019”, will run from May 3, until May 12, 2019. The exhibition is free to the public. There is a $5.00 cover charge to attend the Opening Night reception Friday 7 – 10 pm May 3rd. This year’s show will once again include both visual and dramatic presentations and will feature the works of writers, poets, fine artists, musicians and photographers. During the exhibit, we will host thirteen artists from the United States and seventeen from Canada. This art exhibition illustrates evidence of the diversified, yet unifying bond art has on all ethnicities and cultures when telling our stories.

During the ten days, there will be a number of events presented along with guided school and small group tours. This year the Artists of Colour will pay tribute to The Hour-A Day Study Club, Established in 1934 it is one of the longest-running, non-profit, female-driven organizations in Canada.
